Gardening Lunch Club

Yesterday we went to the Gardening Lunch Club at Woodham Community Centre. Howard who runs the Grow Your Community gardening project was there and we made Christmas table centre pieces using branches from shrubs and bushes in the garden. We had a buffet lunch there including pies, quiche, salad, and cake. We had to get a minibus there and back because we couldn't get two wheelchairs on the service bus.

Trampolining at ROF 59

Today we went to the new trampoline park, ROF 59 on Newton Aycliffe Industrial Estate. We went on the trampolines, then had our lunch which was lovely. After lunch some of us went back on the trampolines and Shaun, John and Helen went rock-climbing. We all had a fabulous day and can't wait to go back.

Remembrance Day

Today was Remembrance Day where we have a two minute silence to remember those who gave their lives in the war to protect our country. We did some research on Remembrance Day which is also known as Armistice Day and watched the two minute silence live on iPlayer.
