Halloween Disco

Last night was the Halloween Disco at Social Club. We have been getting ready for it for the past few weeks. We decorated the Foster Room as a Zombie room and turned the conservatory into a morgue. There was a disco and a raffle as well as some party games. Thomas Oakley won first prize in the raffle which was the Halloween Hamper, and Michael Smallman won best fancy dress. Everyone had a really good night.

Getting ready for Halloween

This week we have been getting ready for our Halloween Party. We have been really busy making zombies, bunting and other decorations for the party. We bought old clothes from the charity shop and stuffed them with newspaper to make them look like bodies.

Kepplewray

At the weekend we went to Kepplewray, an activity centre in the Lake District. There was a big group of us so some of us went on a minibus, and the rest drove down in cars. When we got there we had a kick about with the football in the garden, then had our tea.

On the Saturday we went to Coniston Water and went canoeing on the lake. We went back to the centre for lunch, then split into two groups to do Archery or Abseiling. After tea on Saturday night we spent the night in the games room and the lounge. Some of us decided to scare each other which has become a tradition at Kepplewray.

We all had a brilliant weekend and can't wait for next year.

People's Parliament

Today we went to the People's Parliament meeting in Durham to do a presentation about Options. We spoke about the different things we do at Options and how Options has helped us by building our confidence and helping us be more independent.#
